email2sms

The email2sms functionality enables to send SMS directly from your email client or from one of the existent mail objects (cdonts, cdosys, jmail, persist, etc.), just by sending an email.

It is possible to send the same message, at the same time, to multiple addressee numbers, by inserting one or more addresses in To and Cc fields.

How it works:
To send a message, you simply have to send an email to the address arranged as <country_code>.<prefix>.<mobile_phone_number>@smshosting.it or <country_code><prefix><mobile_phone_number>@smshosting.it (without dots) and with the message text written in its body.
The email must be sent as text/plain. The text in the mail body will be forwarded by the system to the address(es) specified in To and Cc fields. An example of well formed address can be 39.393.12345678@smshosting.it or 3939312345678@smshosting.it

The email2sms functionality enables you to specify up to five email addresses from which you will be able to send SMS. Without this preventive configuration, any sent email will not be processed.
Through the control panel it is possible to enable the automatic subdivision of emails that have more than 160 characters into multiple SMS, even selecting the maximum number of allowed SMS.
Through the control panel it is also possible to enable the multiple SMS enumeration , function which makes message comprehension easier, thanks to the visualized reading order.
